Kinessence™: Complete Joint Formula*

“Snap, Crackle, Pop”. Unfortunately, this cute little catch phrase does not always refer to the Rice Crispies™ cereal.  For some people, these sounds become increasingly familiar as they age and move about their activities of daily living.  It is then that the wear and tear on their joints becomes uncomfortable and maybe even painful and most importantly; impossible to ignore.  Joint discomfort can affect one or more joints and can come about from a number of different sources like rheumatoid arthritis, bursitis, gout, osteoarthritis, tendonitis and simple overuse. Whatever the cause, joint discomfort can be very bothersome so much so that it can interfere with the basic tasks of everyday living.  For people who have lived active lifestyles, they may find themselves facing joint discomfort at earlier ages so that by the time they are in their golden years the discomfort could be virtually debilitating.

Joint discomfort is one of our first signs that we have “unhappy joints”.  It could be a simple strain that needs proper rest and attention or it could be a sign of more serious wear.  Arthritic changes are seen in spinal x-rays as early as age 27. Both overuse and underuse of a joint can lead to its deterioration and the deterioration can then lead to pain and discomfort in normal use.

The two major sources of joint discomfort are:

  • The wearing down of the hyaline (or articular cartilage) that provides the smooth gliding surface for the inside of the joint. When hyaline is worn it presents a rough surface to the cartilage above it. If the hyaline has been completely worn by overuse, then rough bone is exposed and rubs on the articular cartilage facing it.
  • Dry joints. Lack of proper production of lubricating synovial fluid can cause the hyaline cartilage to rub on each other without any intervening lubrication. This produces discomfort and wear.
Kinessence™ provides:

Cetyl Myristoleate (CMO) is wholly derived from beef tallow and has been found to be the superior joint lubricant*. CMO increases the viscosity of synovial fluid and the cushioning of hyaline cartilage inside joints.*

Bovine Trachea is derived from bovine (cow) trachea cartilage that is naturally rich in chondroitin, hyaluronic acid and keratosulphates.* And, it is also a good source of lubricating and joint nourishing mucopolysaccharides that have been shown in research to be a superior form of joint lubrication, improving the condition of even severely worn joints.[1]* Working much better at helping joints than shell fish, shark or chicken derived mucopolysaccharides (ie: glucosamine or chondroitin).*

Hyaluronic Acid (also called hyaluronan or hyaluronate) is a component of connective, epithelial, and neural tissues and is present in all of those cells.* And, while its primary function is to lubricate and cushion, it is also what gives skin its volume and fullness.* The average 70 kg (154 lbs) person has roughly 15 grams (3 teaspoons) of hyaluronic acid in their body in areas such as joints, heart valves, eyes and skin.*

As we age, our levels of HA are reduced contributing to the decline in the structural integrity of the body.* Because HA is a primary component of synovial fluid, it is important in the lubrication of joints and the integrity of tissues.* In the joint, HA also acts as a shock absorber and structural stabilizer.* As our levels of hyaluronic acid decrease, it may become painful to perform basic ADL's (activities of daily living) such as climbing stairs, walking, etc.*

Pancreatin Enzymes derived from the same cow pancreases that medical insulin is extracted from, this pharmaceutical grade pancreatin greatly increases the absorption of the joint supportive nutrients.*

"Dear Dr. Wong,
I just finished listening to your podcast from 12/16/09 and realized it was about time I wrote to say how much the Kinessence has helped me. Prior to taking the Kinessence I was on [product name removed] from [manufacturers name removed] which made a definite improvement in my knees and thumbs but did nothing for my toes. After a while I thought I should try your Kinessence to see if it would help more. Wow! I can now flex my toes! My thumbs don't hurt and my knees are much better on stairs, sitting, and rising! What a terrific product!

Thanks for being a blessing!
Kathryn A."
