Refunds & Returns |
| Refunds: |
All returns of unopened, re-sellable items
will be granted a full refund upon receipt at
the offices of WAM Essentials, Inc (excluding
shipping** and handling charges) when accompanied
with a copy of the original receipt and returned
within 30 days of purchase.
No exchange or refund
of Cylinders or Pumps if the plastic seal wrapping
is broken!
All returns are subject to evaluation.
After 30 days a 15% restocking fee will be charged.
Damaged goods must be reported within three (3) business
days of the receipt of your order. Missing items
must be reported within 5 business days of receipt
of your order. If you have any questions, we
will be happy to assist you by phone at 1-866.268.3216.

Returns can be made in one
of two ways:
1) Items can be returned at
your own expenses via any carrier you choose.
Please keep in mind that if you return a package
un-insured and it is never delivered we will
not be able to issue you a refund.
2) You can refuse delivery of
your order and any return shipping charges incurred
will be deducted from the total refund you receive.
Refunds are only given upon receipt of the items.
If the items are never received back in our offices
we will not be able to issue you a refund. |

Maca Root Powder
is not sold in flavors. It is sold for its beneficial
effects - which can be read about from various
sources. The flavor, color and texture may vary
lot for lot because it is in large part dependent
on the growing conditions present before the roots
are harvested. Neither the growers, nor the importers,
nor WAM Essentials, Inc. are in control of these
conditions. WAM Essentials, Inc. is not responsible
for differences in flavor or texture and therefore
does not offer product refunds because of its flavor.

Lost Packages or Packages not Received |
It is an unfortunate event when
someone's package is mis-delivered or is not where
the UPS driver says they left it. If you have not
received your package within a reasonable time
frame and you have a tracking number then please
try tracking the package to see what updated information
UPS has for your items. If you do not have a tracking
number we will be more than happy to provide one
to you as well as track the package to see its
status. Should UPS show that your package has been
delivered when in fact you have not received it
then we need to file a 'lost package' claim with
UPS. Effective August 1,
2007 we will no longer be able to ship replacement
products or issue credits until after we have initiated
the claim process with UPS. WHY? Well, it
is the process of UPS to have the carrier responsible
for delivering the package to contact the customer
and ask them personally if they received the package
in question and we have had too many well meaning
customers who proudly respond "Yes, I did." when
in fact the customer was talking about the replacement
order and UPS was talking about the lost order.
UPS does not even open a claim investigation when
the customer states they have received the package.
Here's what you should do:
Our New Procedure: What should you
do if your package shows delivered but you did not
receive it?
1) The very first thing you should do is Contact
our customer service representatives and notify them
as soon as possible that there may be a problem.
2) Wait. And, this is the most difficult phase of
the process. During this time, our Customer Service
Representatives will start the preliminary lost package
phase with UPS. It is at this time that the UPS carrier
that "delivered"
your package will contact you - probably by telephone
- to ask you or anyone living in your home if you
received the package.
3) Your answer to the preceeding preliminary investigation
by UPS will determine how the remainder of the Lost
Package claim will continue and will also determine
whether your items will be replaced or refunded by
DocsPrefer.com.
- If you tell the UPS driver that you did receive
your package: then the preliminary investigation
by UPS will end and no case will be opened. If
this happens then we will not be able to replace
your items or refund you any monies. Why? Because
you have just told UPS - the people responsible
for paying for your lost items - that you did
in fact receive the items. Therefore, as far
as UPS and WAM Essentials, Inc. and DocsPrefer.com
is concerned this case is closed as you have
in fact received your items.
- If you tell the UPS representative that you
did not receive your package then UPS will open
an investigation into what happened to your package.
Once the investigation has been officially opened
by UPS and they have agreed that the package was
lost and will reimburse WAM Essentials, Inc. for
the products then DocsPrefer.com will either ship
you another package (this time it will be signature
required) or refund you the cost of the product.
We do not refund shipping charges.
4) Up to this point, the entire process should only
take 7 to 14 days.
