Dear Doctor, Tell me more about 4Spectrum Vitamin
E |
| Q: Why is your Vitamin
E so much more expensive than the others? |
A:
The added expense comes in the extra
processing. In order to process out
more of the soy estrogen this Vitamin
E product goes through the cold press
and de-estrification process more times
which increases the cost to the manufacturer.
That extra cost unfortunately gets
passed through the product to the consumer
in higher prices. Keep in mind that
most Vitamin E products on the market
not only contain more than 20% estrogen
but the manufacturer then adds vegetable
oil (also known as soybean oil) to
the mixture to help 'fill-up' the capsule.
That makes it so that more than half
the volume in any Vitamin E capsule
is made up of esterified soy oil.....
you do the math!

Q: Let me preface
this by letting you know that this is my
personal experience - which I discussed
with Dr. Wong...... Dr. Wong, I have been
following your Healthy Heart recommendations
for years and they have worked really well.
But I continued to have episodes of irregular
heart beat under high stress and if I got
low on Magnesium. Ever since I started
using the 4 Spectrum Vitamin E you recommend
(at the suggested doses on the bottle)
I have not had a single tachycardia episode
or incidence of irregular heart beat. And,
that's even considering I know I'm low
on magnesium (because of the restless leg
I get when I am low on mag.) and was under
tremendous stress during the tax season.
I feel great! Is this what a good Vitamin
E is supposed to do? (Keep in mind that
I used to take the raw liquid CoQ10 by
the teaspoon and it still took a long time
to settle down my heart episodes.) |
A:
Yes, it is! I have always believed
that all of the positive heart benefits
attributed to CoQ10 these last few
years has really been the function
of Vitamin E. Research was done in
the 1960's* which details all of the
wonderful benefits Vitamin E has on
the heart - but that research was done
using Vitamin E that was extracted
using the Cold Press of Wheat Germ
not Soy! So, all the new research showing
Vitamin E doesn't do anything good
for us is from the Vitamin E that's
estrogenated. This 4 Spectrum Vitamin
E doesn't have any extra soy oil added
to it plus it goes through extra processing
to remove as much of the soy residue
as possible. So the end product is
between 90 to 95% estrogen free unlike
virtually every other Vitamin E on
the market. We also need to throw out
all of the modern day recommendations
for taking 800 IU's or less of Vitamin
E. The false teaching here is that
too much Vitamin E will throw off your
lipids. If that's so for Vitamin E
why is it not so for all the estrogenated
Omega's everyone wants you to take.
There is a hidden agenda here to get
Vitamin E to the level where it will
not work and to sell you things that
are more expensive. The first conspiracy
is from the drug companies, the second
is from the vitamin companies who oft
times are owned by the drug companies
or have nasty owners who don't care
about nutrients and only care about
cash. I'm so glad the 4 Spectrum Vitamin
E is helping your heart function better.
